OpenCode
OpenCode runs as a local agent in a pane and, on macOS and Linux, as a cloud or background agent. It is not an API-key agent: neither the local nor the cloud path takes a pasted key.
Local OpenCode
Coldtea does not manage OpenCode's login. OpenCode runs its own interface in the pane and owns its setup, including the /connect flow, model switching, and permission prompts. Sign in through OpenCode's own /connect inside the pane the same way you would outside Coldtea.
Coldtea only needs to find the opencode binary. If OpenCode does not appear in the agent picker, install the CLI and confirm it runs in your own terminal (see Connect agents).
Cloud OpenCode
OpenCode is a cliAuth agent: instead of a stored key, Coldtea syncs OpenCode's own local sign-in to the cloud. It has its own connect row in the cloud-run settings ("OpenCode cloud sign-in"), separate from the API-keys and Subscription options, so the credential source you pick for the other agents does not apply to it. See Cloud agent credentials.
Choose a TeaHouse first. Then select Connect on the OpenCode row. A drawer opens with the header "Connect OpenCode" and runs opencode auth login in a terminal. Sign in through OpenCode in the browser tab that opens. While you sign in, the drawer shows "Waiting for OpenCode sign-in…" and watches for the sign-in file OpenCode writes. When it detects the file, the connection completes on its own; select "I've signed in" to check immediately.
macOS and Linux only
The OpenCode cloud connect flow is available on macOS and Linux. It is turned off on Windows, where OpenCode runs under WSL and writes its sign-in file inside the WSL filesystem, which Coldtea cannot read from the Windows host. Local OpenCode panes still work on Windows; only the cloud connect flow is gated off.
