Coldtea, a desktop application and accompanying website owned and operated by BestRegards, Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), is an integrated environment for the full software development lifecycle in the agentic era — a transparent host for CLI coding agents with planning, review, deployment awareness, and post-deployment monitoring. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect the information you provide when accessing or using our desktop app, website (coldtea.ai), and any associated services (collectively, the "Service").

By accessing or using Coldtea, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

  • Aggregate usage and performance metrics
  • Referring/exit pages and URLs
  • Date/time stamps

Code and Terminal Content

Coldtea's core terminal host and editor run locally on your machine. Your source code, terminal output, and agent transcripts are not transmitted to our servers unless you explicitly opt into a cloud-side feature — such as publishing a session replay, requesting remote orchestration, or enabling cloud monitoring. When you do, only the content required for that feature is transmitted, and you can revoke access at any time.

III. Information Sharing and Security

We rely on trusted third-party services to operate parts of the Service:

  • Authentication, database, and storage providers (e.g. Firebase)
  • LLM and inference providers for cloud-side orchestration features
  • Observability and performance monitoring services
  • Secure payment processors for handling transactions

We do not sell your Personal Information to advertisers or third parties. Data in transit and at rest is encrypted, and we regularly review our security posture.

IV. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may also retain and use your information as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
